Who is World Within Her?

A very warm and bubbly welcome to the World Within Her.

Although who I really am is the soul that lives within, I go by the name of Marsha aka Maria (same same but different)!

I’m a 20-something Russian, born in Lithuania, and who now rests her bones in London. I’ve been in London for the last 15 years and now ready to move somewhere tropical, where I can own a watermelon farm and watch the sun rise above the ocean every morning.

The need to travel..

I am a seeker - of truth, of new adventures, of soul connections and of Self Click To Tweet

I’ve been a jet-setter from as early as four months, and my wanderlust has taken me to 70 cities in 27 countries on five continents so far.

I hugged a koala at an animal sanctuary in Australia, dived with wild dolphins in Israel, flew to Portugal for a day to get some sun, taught kids English in the Dominican Republic, watched the sunrise from a hot air balloon in Cappadocia, enjoyed Christmas markets in Prague, experienced my first ever tropical thunderstorm in Koh Samui, ate the sweetest watermelon from a local farmers market in Morocco, admired the sheer beauty of Gaudi’s work in Barcelona, had a morning jet-ski date in Malta, swam in fresh water lakes in Lithuania, delighted in ongoing love-affair with Italy especially Lake Como, jumped off cliffs in Jamaica, sunbathed naked on our own private boat in Sardinia, rode to Hollywood beach on a Harley in Miami, fell in love in Thessaloniki, watched David Haye lose in Frankfurt, had my heart broken in Paris, witnessed the wonder of Niagara Falls  in Canada, spent my childhood summers in Siberia and hiked up 750 steps to the peak of Mount Sinai in Egypt.

Travel is my biggest passion, all I want to do is travel and make a difference. I value experiences over anything material. I find that travel makes me learn so much about myself and the world, it has too much to offer for us not to explore it and soak it all of its beauty!

Connecting with people, is one of my biggest values, so when I travel, I love connecting with the locals and experiencing the country in the most authentic way.  These are the experiences that seek when I travel. I am really not the type to get an all-inclusive hotel and spend a week not even going to the sea to swim, let alone explore the country I am in! I like to get up early and go exploring!

My mission..

My mission is to create awareness about those things, which will make this world a better place. Eco-tourism, sustainable ways of living, spreading love and connecting with people, as well as leading a cruelty-free, vegan lifestyle. I am all about having the finer things in life, without compromising on ethics and making people’s lives more meaningful, enjoyable and fulfilling. That includes travelling to locations which will inspire you, giving back in form of volunteering or just spending your money on products that give back and make a difference. Engaging with like-minded people and inspiring you to find your purpose and your calling!

I made a choice to take that risk and leave the safety of something that was not fulfilling me, and live the life I have always imagined (minus the initial struggles) and embody the changes that I want to see in the world, I hope to inspire people to follow their hearts and also live out their wildest dreams.

I don’t think I am the next Mother Teresa, (I am waaay too ratchet) but I do believe that I am more than just another blogger.

How it all begun..

Worldwithinher blog was born in 2014, while working – but wilting – as a well paid receptionist in an immaculate, shiny, white showroom. I was a Personal Shopper before that.

I started my blog as a travel diary while on my two-week holiday to Thailand with my then-boyfriend, as a way of helping friends and family to keep up with us. I loved blogging every night, but didn’t keep up the momentum after returning from Thailand but then..

I went vegan!

Initially for health reasons, suffering from an acidic gut, bad digestion and a few other issues, I decided to try a plant-based diet after watching Forks Over Knives and seeing the effects it had on our health.  Also, it did help that, while working at the showroom with very little to do, I spent my days researching veganism and every nutrient and vitamin that our bodies need, and where I can get that from on a plant-based diet.

Lifestyle Blogger Was Born..

As a woman who has a certain standard of living, I didn’t want to ‘go without’ and deny myself pleasure just because I now chose to not contribute to the exploitation of animals for our own benefit. I started visiting all the vegan restaurants and cafes in London and writing up reviews on them, I got myself my first writing gig for www.MaybeLdner.com as their ‘healthy’ veggie contributor and I helped to attract a wider readership and educate readers about all the vegan eateries out there. But of course, being vegan is a lifestyle and not a diet hence why I blog all things connecting to a vegan lifestyle, so this is your hub for all things gorgeous and conscious.

Oh my oh my in my **American accent**. I love it. You are the perfect face for an advert (think about it). I am trying to go vegan but I love eggs too much. So I live by a vegan lifestyle but I cheat every now and again on weekends … well done Marsha.
